Among the most beloved figures is Chuuya Nakahara, the fiery Port Mafia executive whose gravity-manipulating ability makes him a force to be reckoned with. Now, fans can bring a piece of the Ghost House arc home with the Bungo Stray Dogs (Ghost House ver.) Mini Acrylic Diorama [Chuuya Nakahara].

This compact collectible captures Chuuya in a striking pose, set against a backdrop inspired by the eerie Ghost House storyline. With its layered acrylic design and attention to character detail, this diorama promises to be a standout addition to any Bungo Stray Dogs collection. In this review, we’ll examine the build quality, size, artistic detail, and overall value of this mini diorama, helping you decide if it deserves a spot on your shelf.

Unboxing and First Impressions

The diorama arrives in a compact, sturdy box featuring artwork of Chuuya in his Ghost House attire. Inside, the acrylic pieces are individually wrapped to prevent scratches. The set includes the main character plate, a background plate, and a small base stand. Assembly is straightforward—simply slot the pieces together using the pre-cut grooves. The acrylic is thick enough to feel premium, with a glossy finish that enhances the colors.

Upon first glance, the print quality is impressive. Chuuya’s signature red hair and dark coat are rendered with sharp lines and vibrant hues. The background shows a dimly lit corridor with subtle ghostly elements, staying true to the series’ atmosphere. The diorama stands about 4 inches tall, making it perfect for desk or shelf displays without taking up too much space.

• Tip: To keep the acrylic surfaces pristine, gently wipe with a microfiber cloth before assembly to remove any dust.

Design and Detail Accuracy

One of the standout features of this diorama is how faithfully it captures Chuuya’s Ghost House design. His expression is confident yet serious, with his signature hat tilted at a jaunty angle. The detailing on his coat, including the folds and the Port Mafia emblem, is crisp and clear. The background plate adds depth, with layered shadows that create a sense of being inside the haunted mansion.

Compared to other Bungo Stray Dogs acrylic dioramas, such as the Bungo Stray Dogs (Ghost House ver.) Mini Acrylic Diorama [Atsushi Nakajima] and the Bungo Stray Dogs (Ghost House ver.) Mini Acrylic Diorama [Ryunosuke Akutagawa], this Chuuya version stands out for its dynamic pose and rich color palette. The miniature size does not compromise the level of detail, and the acrylic material ensures the colors remain vibrant over time.

Size and Display Compatibility

Measuring approximately 4 inches in height and 3 inches in width, this diorama is designed to fit neatly into most display setups. It pairs well with other Ghost House series dioramas, allowing collectors to create a cohesive scene. The base is stable and non-slip, so the diorama stays upright even on slightly uneven surfaces.

For those who enjoy rotating their collections, this diorama is lightweight and easy to reposition. It also works well alongside other acrylic stands, such as the Witch Hat Atelier Acrylic Stand [Olruggio], which shares a similar size and aesthetic. Whether displayed on a bookshelf, desk, or in a dedicated collectible cabinet, the Chuuya diorama adds a touch of anime flair without overwhelming the space.

• Tip: Group multiple Ghost House dioramas together to recreate the eerie atmosphere of the arc.

Value for Money and Collectibility

Priced competitively within the mini acrylic diorama market, this piece offers excellent value for dedicated Bungo Stray Dogs fans. The quality of the print and the thickness of the acrylic justify the cost, especially when compared to lower-end alternatives that may warp or fade. As a limited-run item tied to a specific story arc, its collectibility is likely to increase over time.

For collectors who already own the Atsushi or Akutagawa versions, adding Chuuya completes the Ghost House trio. The diorama also makes a thoughtful gift for anime enthusiasts who appreciate detailed character art. Considering the craftsmanship and the popularity of the character, this is a solid investment for any fan of the series.

If you are a fan of Chuuya Nakahara or simply love high-quality anime collectibles, the Bungo Stray Dogs (Ghost House ver.) Mini Acrylic Diorama [Chuuya Nakahara] is a must-have. Its detailed design, sturdy build, and compact size make it a perfect addition to any collection.
